My name is Marie-Delphine.
Wedding photographer and portraitist based in Nancy, I see each image as a delicate imprint: timeless and deeply alive.
My work lies where elegance meets emotion. A constant search for balance between refined aesthetics and sincere spontaneity.
In love with Art with a capital A, I draw my inspiration from music, architecture, cinema and fashion. Each of these languages nourishes my eye and shapes a visual voice that is sensitive, refined and instinctive.
I pay particular attention to:
- Light, the kind that brushes, envelops and reveals without ever forcing.
- The silences between gestures.
- The details we don’t always see, but deeply feel.
My approach is intuitive, almost silent. I let myself be guided by what unfolds, here and now, to capture the essence of your story with truth and delicacy.
More than coverage, I create images that stand the test of time. Memories that are not simply seen, but lived all over again.
My story So as never to forget
My story with images begins with an absence. Originally from Cameroon, I arrived in France in 2005, at the age of 8, to join my mother, who had arrived two years earlier. I am the youngest of five children, with a brother who still lives on the African continent.
On that journey toward a new horizon, we had to leave everything behind. I have very few photographs from my childhood. The few I do have, I cherish like relics. They are my duty of remembrance.
This awareness of how fragile memories are has shaped my eye. Very early on, art became my language, first through dance, which taught me the rigor and discipline of movement. Then came architecture. Growing up in Alsace, I learned to contemplate lines, the nobility of stone, and those villages where every façade seems to tell a century of history.
Photography came to me as something self-evident, a natural next step. From an absence grew the desire to freeze time, to remember and to relive the most cherished moments, surrounded by the people who matter most, so that memories never fade away.
Having grown up with the rise of social media and the era of the first blogs, I saw them as a way to bring people together, to create and above all to leave my mark.
Today, I see photography as the most beautiful way of passing things on. A true visual legacy that we hand down to those we love.

As a former nursing assistant, human connection naturally comes first for me. I have kept a deep sense of others and a particular attention to sincere exchanges.

I love to rest my eye on the smallest things: the way light gently settles on a face, the architectural details around me, but also an outfit as a whole.
I pay particular attention to the finesse of an accessory, and to the harmony of a silhouette shown at its best.
